Hi, i received an e-mail from nintendo stating that they have a new program called flip note studio free to download from the internet. My question is: if I download that program will it also update my dsi to the new 1.4 firmware? Thanks
Yes, if you want to go online you must update to 1.4. There is unfortunately no way around this. But there's an update for the Acekard now anyway, so if you have a DS Lite as well, you'll be able to update it. I wouldn't bother with Flip Note anyway, it's very basic and gets old fast.
