Hello to everybody. I'm new to this forum, but have had a flip-top for about 3 weeks. I have yet to run into a problem backing up my games, until yesterday. I made a backup of Freestyle Metal X, using dvd decrypter, as usual. I had no problems with the burn process, using tdk dvd+r, but when I go to play the backup I get nothing. The swap magic prompts me to insert the backup, as usual, but when I do I get a black screen, despite the fact that I get the blue border indicating it is a good load. What gives? Never had this problem before.

game may just not work on the current version of the swap disks

    college...

there is no talk of downloading games on this forum.
This is piracy free forum and you need to go to a different forum for that kind of info.
    thanks.

I just wanted to thank everyone who participated in this thread for keeping me utterly useless at work for an entire day.

But on the "flip" side, me and my new dvd burner are making perfect PS2 backups.

    Thanks!

mscollege why would you spend time downloading a game to burn on dvd-r. since you have a dvd writer why don't you use the original??? You need the original game anyways!!! You can't just download a game that you don't already own.

Try using Primo Prassi to burn the file.

Hey Dills, or anyone for that matter, have you guys had success with cd loader? I'm just concerned that it won't screw up my PS2 lol. ALso every time you turn on the PS2 after that first time with CD Loader, will it go to that same screen? Thanks

Yes... I think that +r does work with version 4. It's versions 1-3 that has problems reading +r. I'm not 100% possitive but I'm pretty sure that it does work.
