hi guys i jus wanted to install a fresh copy of win xp on my computer, but to do so i need to have a raid disk which i have create on a floopy disk, the thing is it wont allow me to run the setup unless i put in the raid disk(floppy disk) otherwise it doesnt detect any hard drive.Heres the sad part my floppy drive jus wont work ne more.If i put any floppy disk it wont read, it was working the first time i installed windows and other times too, but now it wont work. All the connections r proper insides, i even removed and replugged em in, would ne one know what would be the problem ,
i heard theres a way to elimintate the use of a floppy drive is there a way to bypass it, without putting in the floppy disk which contains the raid drivers

You could replace the drive with a new one....from $10 to $20.

You could put the RAID drivers on a USB drive (key drive) and install from there.

Check your BIOS and make sure it's still listed in the boot sequence.
