I have been working on DVD-9 to DVD-5 backups I have successfull gotten the movie only backup as described at http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/ifoedit-menustripping.htm but I would like to include some menus and extras. I have been following the Doom9 guide for the backups but I have run into something I just wanted to know. Why is it that on the 20th Cent. fox dvds they have lots of VOBs that have a static flower image? Also, what does it mean when you get "failed to render graph"
in VOBrator? Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

whenever i get a "failed to render" message on a vob id, i strip that vob id from the movie. I haven't had any problems playing backups that i remove those vob ids from on a standalone player. My guess is that they are extra vob ids used to 'deter' copying/ripping.. but i might be totally wrong..
    hope that help :)
