Hi the dippy missus passworded her laptop to keep me and my daughter from changing stuff on it. well as you can guess from the thread title she cant remember the password. Is there anyway to get into the laptop without the password. any help much appreciated Seamus
you can try a password cracker or reformat or check this site http://www.pcbeginner.com/tools/pcdoctor.htm. reformating is free the rest of the software u need will cost.
Google "Hiren's BootCD", download it, burn to a cd, stick it in the laptop and run it at startup. It has several tools that will replace, reveal or remove that password.
