Hello, I have one DVD-RW disc which I'm practising burning films and shows onto.. When I want to delete files on DVD, I can't find any simple way to do so.. I've got Sonic RecordNow. The last time I wanted to record anything onto the disc, something went wrong, and the operation was cancelled.. Now, when I open MyComputer the DVD-drive isn't recognised. But in REcordNow, I can still load the DVD and it shows the files that is on it.. There's no help deleting the files by pressing "delete", as this doesn't delete them from the DVD... cannot find any button or link for "format DVD"... In My Computer, when that was displaying... I right-clicked-then "format". but when opening it in RecordNow, the files showed as still being on the CD. ANnoying... Please help..
You Could download DVD Info Pro "free version" from www.dvdinfopro.com . This would give you a great program for ID of DVD media as well as some useful utilities, including Booktyping. There is an Erase/format tab at the top, which you can use to clear that DVD-RW disk.
