formatfactory

hi,im new here so please forgive and redirect me if im posting in the wrong place now....
i keep getting a message saying f/factory has not been configured properly...reinstalling may solve this problem but i have uninstalled a reinstalled it several times from different locations and i cant get it to work on my pc...im running a dell precision with xp sp 3..net frame 4....i have used it for quite some time and had no problems before on my other lap top...hope you can help out...thanks and regards...dave jones....excuse my manners...hi everyone and nice to meet you all.
