i am trying to format my m/c on my window xp desktop, no matter what i selected before the process, it keeps come up with "the disk write protected", i don't even have the Lock On.
Are you sure the little switch on the side of it isn't set to "lock"? Try flipping it the other way, then retry. If that doesn't work, it might be your SD slot, try a different device/computer.
