Ok, the forum search has come a long way since I first joined, but I thought of something that might make it a bit better. Currently, there are two choices to do a search. One is for a word or prase with options of time period and specific or all forums. The other choice is just to search for posts by a specific user. The second choice can be a bit frustrating since some people make tons of posts in here. For example: If I remember Nephilim made a useful post about CopytoDVD in the Newbie Forum last week but can't remember the thread.... so we search for posts by him and we get the max 300 results.... unable to view any from the newbie section because he has so many posts in the forums. If we added the options that are in the word/phrase search to the username search, I think it would be very beneficial.
sounds good. i use the search a helluva lot, and i can't even search thru my own!. however i have much better success using the 'search all words' option, but that does sound better..
