Forums now running on a load balancer

    I've switched the forums to run behind a load balancer again. Earlier this caused excessive "No suitable nodes are available to serve your request" errors to appear. We have worked with our hosting provider to solve this issue, and it should be better now. Hopefully. Maybe.

    Anyway. Please report to this thread should problems with the forums arrise.

    Hi Jari, I just got the No suitable nodes message again twice trying to reply to a post. Its about 8:30pm EST when this happened. Actually its 7:30 EST because we just switched to daylight savings time this weekend.

    Thanks. I've escalated the problem to our ISP and switched the forums off from the load balancer again.

    getting a lot of page can not be displayed errors & slow reaction times before or if it switches to next page

    Hi Jari, since you switched it back the other way it seems to be better. I'm not getting the Nodes message anymore and my posts are going through ok.

    Many members become AD ADDICTs a long time before they reach 2500 posts. Not in actual name statis but addicted to the point that they are always returning here.LOL

    from what i've seen not to helpful in safety valve. as auslander said do a search for rap4life as same thing will happen to you as what happened to him

    Just curious, how does this load balancer (even though its now off) work? It seems like a funny thing to have on a forum :p
