i found a nokia 3220 about 3 months and i didnt know how to return it (no way am i posting posters up, the place i found it was a looong way from where i live) plus the owner w/e didnt call so yea i just kept it (bad of me i know). i had a cell phone but it broke a couple of days ago so now my only option is either get a new one, or use the one i found. so my question to u techys out there, when i insert my SIM card to the phone i found, will my service provider find out that this is someone elses phone (by registering the IMEI of the phone) and track me down or no? (lets say it is from the same service provider). thanks in advanced p.s the fone is unlocked!
Hey, you worry too much. They are not going to do anything. I found a Samsung X426 a year ago and I threw out the orginal SIM card(I'M BAD) and put my own SIM card in and have been using it for 1 year now. They don't care and they are not going to track you down. So don't worry man.
