I was dumping the last of my gamecube collection with rawdump and when i dumped pickmin 2 it said pickmin 2 for gamecube. I found it strange that it specified that it was for gamecube??? I dont think any other gamecube title has done that.
I noticed that too, dont know why it is but I noticed another oddball name. If you dump wii sports it says "sports pack for revolution" Revolution was the codename in development for the wii. Little easter eggs I guess.
