Hi everyone, A week ago my xbox didn't turn on if you pushed the 'on' button. The light keeps turning green and after 3 times it turns red/green. I got an applex VI chip in my V1.6 xbox. When ik start the xbox by using the 'open dvdcase' button it just starts the normal xbox bios. I tried a lot of things but I can't get it fixed. I was wondering if someone has some good ideas about it. Thanx
I am 99% sure it is the volatges, caused by botched lpc rebuild. Did you install the chip or did someone else? The D0 could also have come undone. If you modded it, you will want to test all the lpc points. Pin 6 should be getting 3.3v, or close to it. Pin 9 is the sucker, it should be getting around 5v, if it is under 4.5v that is the culprit.
