ok i just broke my xapter, so i had a friend try to solder my xecuter 2.6 ce to my 1.0 xbox, since i don't know how to. he has soldered and resoldered it 3 times, but it keeps fragging! does anyone know why it's doing this? it boots fine if the chip is switched off. before i broke it, the xapter was gay, and no matter how hard i tightened the screw to the motherboard, it wouldn't work unless i applied a lot of pressure to it. also, we couldn't do the pinheader install because i lost the pinheader, so we did the wire install. i've already flashed the chip. please help! i'm so pissed off at it!
