Frazzled starview clone

    Hi guys

    I think my starview has finally given up. Tried all the things on this site and all i get is stuck picture perfect sound and turns its self of after 1min. 0 on the display and flashing line on display.

    I have decided im going to purchase "thebox" just dont wanna get caught out with a clone again i see a guy on fleabay called wizzzzaarrd promotions can he be trusted??

    any input would be great

    The main place to get them is wizzard sattelite i believe most of the people who sell them buy in bulk from him.you will have to load the box with the software yourself.

    Been on his website and it say they come all pre loaded!!

    Are they all genuine cos dont wanna get stung again

    wizzard satelite dont come pre loaded he is definite genuine i have never heard of the other 1 wizzard promotions.just gioogle wizzard satelite.

    Why not just fix your box:

    1.Remove the cap (c21) electrolytic near the ribbon on the psu board.
    2.Boot the box , it should boot to on and function correctly , the psu will hum ignore it , just let it boot to ON ,then turn it back off.
    3.Replace electrolytic cap (c11) 1000 mic @10v on the psu board , resolder (c21)
    thats it done.

    You can get caps from Maplins they can also be found on fleebay item No 110091935709.

    Sorry open the box and you will see these two capacitors all you will need to do is replace the one marked C11. But follow the format that I posted above.

    Or better still bring it to a TV repair shop and they will do it for you.
