I have downloaded several free programs onto my PC for audio editing with the hopes that one of these programs may have an authentic sounding echo effect, but to no avail. All of teh software I have used so far only has horrible echo effects that sound very fake, almost like a robotic reverb. Now, my Studio 12 video editing program has a marvelous echo effect on it, but unfortunatey one must have Studio Plus to use it (the program allows you to sample it, but only with an irritating beeping sound over the track). Can anyone reccomend a free program that has an authentic sounding echo effect? Thanks!!
thank you - I have audacity and its echo effect is just as artificial sounding as the other programs. i need a program that has a real sounding echo effect, not merely a reverb.
