free car parking anywhere

    hi, this is not telling you how to get free carparking, but asking if it is possible.

    do you know the car parks that you get a ticket from a machine at the entrance at the barrier, like an NCP, could you get the ticket wait 5 mins and then go pay and not actually leave for a few hours. if you don't understand what i mean then just reply saying.

    no because the machines are a little smarter than that. if you enter at 12:00, and pay at 12:05, it will mark on your ticket when you paid. So when you go try to swipe your ticket at 3:00, it won't let you out. You only have like a 10 or 15 minute grace period to leave once you've paid for yout ticket. At least thats they way they are in Los Angeles. They have little magnetic strips on them that contain all of the data.
