Hi all, i have a puzzling problem: Im trying to transfer a DMG file from a DL disc to an external hard drive, when i try to copy and paste it says: <Cannot copy dvd image there is not enough free disk space> im not dumb or blind but when you see there is enough disk space to transfer data then somethings messed up,ive done this before and this is the first time it's happened, plz help.
Thankyou very much ddp,i didnt know that, and it is fat32,can i reformat it some how to fit these files on,or is that it?
don't format just convert the hd from fat32 to ntfs. To convert a volume to NTFS from the command prompt Open the Command Prompt window. In the command prompt window, type convert drive_letter: /fs:ntfs For example, typing convert D: /fs:ntfs would format drive D: with the ntfs format. Notes To open a command prompt, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Command Prompt. You can convert FAT or FAT32 volumes to NTFS with this command.
