No, domains like .co.uk and .com don't come free.

Sud-domains are the best you'll get for free, I should think.

About the free domain with microsoft it sucks because you can't upload anything on your website and you have to have the microsoft logo on your webite well check this out.

This new website I found is pretty easy basicly all you have to do is create a new email because the're going to spam your email. The sign up at this ***link removed by loco*** activate your account. Then complete some offers. If you realy need a domain basicly all you have to do is go to avalible offers click 100% free and do the ebay offer.NOTE: you have to have cookies enabled for them to know if you did the offer. Basicly sign up for Ebay activate you ebay account and bid on one item. Then go to the ebay offer and click completed. Usually after 15 minutes you will be aproved. YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE THE EBAY OFFER. Once its been approved. The go to Avalible prices and click on year domain regiteration. Choose the domain name that you want and submit the request. Since you completed the ebay offer worth 10 points you will have 10 points in you account. The domain name for 1 year is 9.95 points. And you should be left with 0.05 points. After a minute or so your offer will be processed. All you have to do is go to My Prizes and call the number they have their you will find a prize verification number. You will need it first call them and choose every thing that you have to and choose the number for domain lagoon. in the message leave all the nessecary info including your prize verification number. And you should recieve and email with you domain info and registerar and log in info such as user name and passeord. And that domain is good for one year. Very nice easy domain! i curently have two domains one .com and one .net. good luck.

You have to verify your card details upon signign up so i did this and it took £1 out of my account and then came back saying i put in wrong details. It is an official windows website but looks like a scam. I am going to email and request for my £1 back they have enough money as it is.

Just thought I'd pass along this sale.

Anyone interested in domain names or hosting should check out dreamhost.com

You can get a huge allowance and a free domain name for $5.95/month. Since the canadian dollar is so high this seems like a steal.

Plus when you enter "30NOW" when signing up you save an additional $30. I don't know how long this sale is on for.

Hope it helps a few people out!

The only free domain names that are easy to get are the ones you get for a year when you sign up for some hosting accounts.
Which if you guys do not know, you do have to have somewhere to host your site. Even if you do have a domain name.
There is a difference between a domain name and a host.
