I just bought a Free agent 500gb portble drive and created a backup last night only to find out that all of my itunes jpgs did not backup because it's not supported by the software included with the seagate drive.

So I searched their forum and was told to use Freebyet or Comodo bckup.

Has anyone use these softwares and do they copy everything?

Or do you have a better suggestion?

If you want to do a backup of an entire partition (everything system files/data files etc) you can use the free macrium reflect. It backsup everything. It will let you "mount" (to a drive letter) the backup file so you can retrieve the data or you can restore the entire partition on a new drive.

I'm not familiar with freebyet or comodo backup but do know that the only softwares that do a "full" (byte by byte) backups are "imaging softwares" like macrium. There are other free image software "paragon drive backup express", "driveimage xml" among others.
