Freeview box with twin tuner and hard drive

Hi a friend of mine is currently living in an area that doesnt have cable but might be moving to an area that does and is thinking of buying a freeview box with twin tuner and harddrive.

I was wondering if any of the boxs talked about on here eg eurovox, starview ....... that could be used for freeview but if when he does move could update the firmwear to work on cable! any help or info would be great

No, 1.Freeview box for freeview channels only (Terrestial tuner inside)
2. Cable box for cable channels only (Cable Tuner inside or twin cable tuner)
3. Satellite box for Satellite channels only (Satellite Tuner inside or twin)

Thanks was just a bit confused since the eurovox and starview both have areal connections and not coax so thought they could get freeview through a normal ariel!!!

Any sugestions on good twin tuner freeview boxs???
