    Hi there,

I recently bought a new flashed Xbox360 and encountered some problems with Gears of War. It always freezes after the first level when I go to the helicopter. I think a cinematic should be played as the ground begins to move -> FREEZE.
I use Verbatim DL and a Samsung S183A burner. The freeze always happens at the same location. Sometimes a second earlier sometimes a second later.
I thought, that maybe the Xbox might have a hardware issue but I can play my backup of Assasins Creed for hours without problems. So I don't think it is a overheating problem.

But GTA 4 has also some freezing issues. For now I've counted 3 missions where it COULD freeze but it is not always the same location where it happens.

I burn my DVD DL with 2-2,4x Speed. I used Clone CD and ImgBurn -> no difference.

Is there something I could do?

Edit: I found this thread: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/460421
Could burn with 4x be a solution?
How can I force CloneCD / ImgBurn to burn with 4x? If I set 4x it starts with 4x but goes down to 2.55x speed (clone cD)

yes try a faster burn speed, i believe 4x is the standard, you could also try adjusting your drive read speed.

Drive read speed does the trick. It was just set too fast at XBC.
    Thanks.
