    Hi dvdlaw
What media are you using? How about the burn speed?

Is your drives firmware up to date too?
    All can play a factor.

You can check the firmware version in Nero (see below)

As binkie7 said. What media are you using? What's the brand of the discs?

That is probably the layerbreak for the Movie if u r using DL media,
It could be the media and it could be the program u r using to burn, my bet is the Media u r using.

Verbatim DL media is the best and u should try those, for better results.

U can however try burning with ImgBurn to see if it still freezes which is known for good DL burning. heres a link
    http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download

Heres a guide too for DL burning with Imgburn for the build mode(if it is an ISO file than just burn using Mode/Write)

I agree w/ 300bowler. I didn't even know Staples was putting their name on DL media. (not like I know all about every brand - this is a new one to me)

If it's -R also - that's pretty new dual layer media. Players may definitely have a problem reading it correctly.

What's the make & model of the burner too?

I'd also go w/ 300bowler suggestion of using imgburn too to burn these.

Burn speed using? If you can try taking it down a notch too.
