Hi I am not sure if I am posting this in the right forum but hopefully someone can help me.
I have an Acer Aspire Laptop and want to hook it to my 42inch plasma Samsung TV.
My laptop only has a female blue port on the side and my tv has one on back of it.
What type of cable do I need?
I will want sound to as I want to hook it so that Netflix will come from my laptop and onto the tv.
The laptop only has a output jack for head phones.
How can i get the sound to the tv as well???

video= vga cable(BLUE SOCKET)lappy to tv or hdmi cable if your lappy has hdmi port(hdmi carries video as well as audio)
audio= 3.5mm male to male stero cable to speaker or headphone socket from lappy to speaker socket of tv( not needed if you use a hdmi cable).
you can get all cables from fleabay very cheap and various sizes.
BE AWARE YOU MAY HAVE TO ADJUST THE ASPECT RATIO OF THE LAPPY TO SUITE YOUR TV!!!!
you can find what aspect ratio your tv will play at via googling the make of tv.
