Hi, i have a wbfs formatted usb external hard-drive that allows me to load to my wii. The problem i am having, is how do i save from my wii to my usb external hard-drive? I have tried usb loader, configure usb, gx loader?, neogamma, none of these give me that option. Am i missing something? I heard there is a way. Can someone point me in the right direction?

    thx

are you trying to save directly onto the drive instead of the internal wii memory? you can't. the games are encoded to save on the wii memory.

as for homebrew like emulators you need to have a seperate partition not wbsf then you will see that drive in usbloader gx and emulators

thats where i store all my roms and game saves

reformat the drive and create two partitions.

run diskmgmt.msc on your computer, and resize the whole drive. format both to FAT32, then format one in WBFS manager.

How big are you dividing the partitions?

the wbfs has to be the bigger of the 2 cause that is where you are storing games it depends on your hard drive size i think i made mine like 10 gig out of 110 gig available and made the wbfs 100 gig

partition size does not matter. i've completely divided my scorpio black evenly. 150/150. configurable usb loader and HBC picks up the FAT32 with no problems.

hi, i will try that. one question, i was told that it is possible to read discs from the wii, and save them directly to your external hard-drive or SD card. Have i been mis-informed?

    Thx
