    I am thinking of purchasing a Benq8700 or a PanasonicPTAE900
    front projector.

Could anyone tell me if a front projector system can be seen with
all the lights on in the room. If so is there a special screen that I need to buy????? Or does it all depend on the projector that has been purchased????

Please help...I would like to buy a system tomorrow

    Thanks

the Benq mp610 has a nice 2000 ANSI lumens bulb with a 2000:1 contrast ratio that can be seen quite clearly under low light levels but almost all front projectors look best at lower light levels. I would suggest the brighter the projector the easier it is to view in brighter lighting conditions. The colors make look washed out but will still be visible.
