my 30 gb ipod video froze after about a week i didnt even take it anywere i tried to play a song and the whole screen froze if i press any buttons it wont do anything or even move the hold button anything will happen its just frozen. does anyone know how i could fix this? thanks-anthony
have you tried mounting it onto your PC? If you can hook it up to your PC, perform a `restore` by opening your latest version of the apple updater software and clicking `restore`. you will lose all of your songs from your iPod, but it'll be worth it to rid you of the frozen screen.
try a soft reset, engage the hold button, then disengage it then press and hold the center and menu button til it resets. Should fix it, at the "computer not reading the ipod" part of it. had same problem with my mini... when i had one.
