fs2004 aircraft creation?

    is it possible to make an aircraft for microsoft flight simulator 2004?
    i have an 3ds model of an cool space ship
    can i "convert" it to .air (for fs2004)?

    i work with sketchup and i dont want to work with any other tool
    if that is possible
