I'm so close to FTPing my xbox to my dad's laptop i am envisioning what I want to do to Halo 2. Well, every time I try to FTP or ping the Xbox, it says FTP timed out. I have direct connection= xbox-crossover cable-laptop. the laptop has NO firewalls. my xbox is NOT softmodded or hard modded or altered in any way, but I do have the new maps saved directly in my Halo 2 folder on my HD. I presume I can mod them if I can access them rite? well if I can't ftp its not gunna help. Someone have an answer to what I am doing wrong? P.S. The IP's are different xbox= 192.168.0.5 and Laptop= 192.168.0.1. the subnets are the same and the gateways are the same, somebody help me out.
