FTP FILES TO XBOX!!!!!

I reinstaled my softmod now i want to send files to my xbox im using unleash x. i have cross over cable from my pc to my xbox. Im not getting a ip adress im using flash xp i use the whole 192.168.0.2 thing and pss:xbox and user naem:xbox i then cange in my setting to dhcp but i still get no ip can u please help

im still having trouble ftp. i cant connect i get a ip adress of 192.168.0.3 im on static and i set enable to yes my dns is 0.0.0 when i swtich to dhcp i dont get a ip can u please help i alredy looked at the tutorials. thx im using flash xp and unleashe x i already know about quick connect in flash xp.

 

im using a crossover cable

 

ok follow this

On PC set
ip 192.168.1.11
subnet 255.255.255.0
gateway blank
DNS blank

On xbox set static
ip 192.168.1.111
subnet 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.11
DNS blank or 0.0.0.0

use crossover cable to connect directly from pc to xbox.

ON flashfxp
Ip 192.168.1.111
port 21
pass xbox
user xbox

then click connect.

Make sure turn off firewalls, virus programs.

 

how do u set it on pc . Is it through flash xp? im using windows xp

 

which windows do you have?

 

windows xp

 

do you see 2 little monitor in system tray? does it says Local Area Network?

If you dont, goto START, then Network connection, then goto properties of Local area network.

Then look for IP/TCP, select it, then click on properties. then enter ip set as I show above.

 

i almost there i cahnge my pc to the setting u gave mae and my xbox gives me same ip now. the thing is flash xp gives me this "connection refused". i dont have xp firewall or anyother on and i disable norton antivirus

 

reboot pc and xbox. leave crossover cable stay connecting to pc ans xbox
Watch ip shows on unleash.

hmm.. sorry I dont mod halo.

 

Before you patch any maps you always make a BACKUP!

 

hi am hanna i have unleashx and i am trying to setup ftp its been 3 days am messing around reading forums still not working
can any 1 guide me how to do it please guys you guys a pro uno all these things am just asking 4 little help guys i connected the crossover wire the i connected it with pc nothing happens deosnt say new hardware nothing i need real ood help here its my first time

 

1 other thing about my pc it has built in ethernet port is this why is not working or do i have to buy a nic card i cannect the wire from xbox to my builtin ethernet port i dont no how to conect am geting mad
