Alright, Im using smartFTP to FTP into my xbox (on a network that dosnt have internet access) and my computer will notice my xbox but when I open my FTP client and connect it says "Error: System error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it" What do I need to do?
you dont have internet access? what you mean? wut i did to connect my smart ftp to my xbox is i went to start, then click on my computer, then click on my network places, then click view network connections, then after you click on view network connections click on the computer looking thing that says local area connections. after that you should see a tab on the top of the box that says support (click it). once you clicked it you will see you computers ip address. copy that then put it to your ftp ip address as your connection. once you done that take your ip address of your computer then change the last digit of ur ip one number above the digit next to it and use that ip as you xbox ip on your xbox dash board. hope this works
