Hi i saw a guide on how to ftp your xbox to computer and it said you could do it by using your router and 2 rj45 cables that you use for your router. I dont really understand what to do though. Please help because i need to by another cable off ebay.

well, you just buy a CAT5 crossover cable (make sure it is a crossover cable) and hook it between the Xbox and the router. After that follow the guide to set up the network options in your dashboard and on the FTP program. If your router has security on it which is on then you will also have to set up all the security information in the MS Dash and then set up the networking info on your hacked dash.

really no way to tell from a picture, you will have to wait until you get it. The way some people name cables it is hard to tell. Some companies call them strait cables (do not need), some call them crossover cables (need), and the word patch cable is used with both depending on the company. They are all RJ45 ethernet cables but the wiring is different.

when you get it compare both ends of the cable. If the wiring on both sides has the same order (colored wires in same order on both ends) then you have a strait through cable.
If they are different you have a crossover cable.

you can also make a crossover out of a strait cable if you feel up to it. http://www.teammodders.com/forum/how-to-make-a-crossover-cable-t399.html
