hey i run into a nice problem today hope i didnt screw anything up to bad. Im running the unleashx dash by the soft mod. i used to be able to ftp into the box but ever since i put linux onto it ive been having problems. But what i dont get is how... i keeped the old 8 gig drive and put in a 200gig. i put linux on the 8 gig drive not the 200gig cause i didnt want to mess with my backups. I installed linux wrong and screwed that drive up but i hope i didnt mess up the xbox bios or anything like that. so i put everything back to default and it still doesnt work. the internet connection is like this. cable modem-Router-My computer-bros computer-xbox ive tried some things from other sites but still doesnt work. everyting else i do the same the only diff is that i tried to install linux so thats the only thing i can think of that screwd it up. anything would be great PEACE
also does it matter if i have static or dchp ip address cause i used to ftp with a static ip and it was fine. can anyone explain dchp tho plz and which is to be used for ftping
