ok on my xbox i have DHCP ip =192.168.1.31
then in my DHCP settings on router i can see
    the xbox ip;;;; 192.168.1.31
i can also see my ip address (i did ipconfig to make sure it was my ip)
also in the evo settings it says line status 100/full Duplex
so i put the ip 192.168.1.31 in the quick connect box in flashfxp plus user name and password
but all i'm getting is a connection failed timeout error

most routers by default will pull up the menu page by typing in

    192.168.0.1 or was it 192.168.0.100

either way one of those addys will open up the menu. (if it's still set to default)

You can check out your settings there.

Usually i have my setup like this

    PC
    IP 192.168.2.105
    subnet 255.255.255.0
    default gateway 192.168.2.1

    DNS1 192.168.2.1
    DNS2 192.168.2.7

    XBOX
    IP 192.168.2.225
    subnet 255.255.255.0
    default gateway 192.168.2.1

    DNS1 192.168.2.1
    DNS2 192.168.2.7

    ROUTER
    IP 192.168.2.100
    subnet 255.255.255.0
    default gateway 192.168 2.1

    DNS1 192.168.2.1
    DNS2 192.168.2.7

With these settings I am able to get online with the pc and the xbox,as well as network between everything. Also if anything else gets added to my network I just configure it accordingly and it all goes smoothly.

    Haven't had a problem yet,with 3 pc's and 2 xbox's on the network.

this is in my settings info of Evolution x
    xbox settings

    IP 192.168.1.31
    Line status 100/full duplex
use static ip address = no
    IP 192.168.0.200
    subnetmask 255.255.255.0

Try switching the addy to static and use this

    IP 192.168.1.200
    subnet DONT CHANGE
    default 192.168.1.1

If you want, add a DNS1 of 192.168.1.1 on each device

if you wanna conect folders from one pc to the other...look up mapping network drives. Or just open a folder and select TOOLS and then map network drive. Then you should be able to see shared folders on the other pc. It works through WORKGROUPS much like the XBMC on the xbox.

Ok, I accedently deleted some important files when FTPing my xbox. Now I can't access my MS dashboard and whenever I try to reinstall or uninstall my UDE I keep getting ERROR (line 1):(callscript) "Actionscript file failed execution". I can't restore or do anything without getting that error. What do i do??
