Hi guys. When ftping into one of my few boxes, I started to notice something. When I FTP into my boxes with the XBIT installed, I can acheive stable speeds of about 7 megs a sec over 100 feet of Cat5. When ftping to my other boxes with the Xenium Ice chip installed, I seem to only have stable speeds of around 4 megs a second. This is using the same setup for both. I was wondering if you guys have noticed this, or is it that I have a setting wrong or something with the Ice chip. Thanks as always guys. Lata. S
it COULD be due to the bios. Although it sounds a bit weird to me having sad that, Ive noticed differences that I wouldnt have expected, with different chips and / or bios
I know it seems weird. I use the same bios on each chip (4387.67) and it still does that. I bet it is something with the OS on the Ice chip. Weird. S
