    Hi everyone,
Recently I started dealing with FTP for uploading files onto a website, I've noticed that when I upload files(pictues,clips..) to the site it gives me 20-24MBps, which takes long time. But when I download it gives me 150-200MBps.
I'm using FireFTP and my internet speed is: 2.5MBps.
Is the problem with the site, or there's something I should do?

Internet bandwidth is typically Asymmetric (speeds are not the same in both directions), with download speeds faster than upload speeds.

I'd be willing to bet that your DOWNLOAD speed is 2.5 but your upload speed is somwhere along the lines of 768K (or less)

Unless you are paying a (much) higher price for symmetrical internet service, this is to be expected.

Check your ISP agreement and see what the advertised up/download speeds are and you can confirm this.
