Connect the computer and xbox with a crossover cable or whatever method you prefer. Then you have to make sure your network settings are configured correctly on your computer and your xbox. After that you open up a FTP program on your computer such as filezilla. Last you type in your xbox's ip address, password(xbox) and username(xbox). To transfer the file you go to the maps directory and you just drag mainmenu.maps to your computer.
