My xbox is hooked up to my pc through a geeksquad crossover cable (also tried cable from SBC Yahoo) plugged into a Dynex pci card, I have my firewalls & anti virus software off and my settings on my xbox are... Setup Network: No Use Static IP: Yes IP: 192.168.0.3 DefaultGateway: (my ip) DNS: 0.0.0.0 DNS: 0.0.0.0 And I get no connection, My pci card doesn't light up and my xbox network section says "No Link!". I went to control pannel/network connections and right clicked my dsl connection and changed the settings as explained in the thread I found here (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/213943) and all that did was shut off my ability to get online so I setup a new Local Area Connection with the prefrences set the way the above instructions say to and that gave my the same no connection icon with the red X thru it. This is pissing me off... I've been at it for hours, Any help would be great
