Hello, I am struggulling to ftp to my xbox i am using softmod installer deleux 2.0 i installed soft mod and evox as guide told me to, i loaded up exox i ftped to the ip in settings,network settings and put username xbox and password xbox, heres my outcome. [R]Connecting to 192.168.0.2-> IP=192.168.0.2 PORT=21 [R]Connection failed (Connection timed out) i use flash fxp and i know it works because i can ftp to xbins and other webspaces I have a routor which connects into my hub and my PC and My Xbox connect into the hub aswell. and i have 2pcs connecting into my routor . i have tried changing my computer ip and subnett and all that to the ones specified in another thread this just results in me not being able to connect to the internet i have also tried connecting my xbox to my pc via usb to ethnet cable and tried plugging my computer into the routor and my xbox into ethnet port on my pc and brdgeing the connections still no out, can any one tell me whats wrong?
if you can FTP to other sites then it must be something simple. Like the Static IP yes/no setting may be wrong. Or the IP address on the Xbox is wrong. what is the PC IP address and what is in the Xbox? Are you using a router or going strait to the PC? are you using a strait through (patch) cable or a crossover cable?
im connecting through rotor i tried using crossover cable and connecting directly to my pc still have no outcome ive tried changeing my pc ip and my xbox ip but it still dosnt work i carnt remeber if it was on static or not i think it was
