FTP transfer slow to 16 when gets to certain file

    I have tried Flashftp, WS FTP pro, IE and get the same results. I am trying to rip a game and the first 5 folders rip at 4000 then it gets to this other folder and the speed drops to 16 k/ps this file has been going for almost 24 hours. Any reason why its this certain folder??? Any help greatly appreciated..
