    hi
i want to ask xvid users if they use full quality and if it really improves quality a bit or not.
i've encoded with and without and can't seem to figure out if it really works

the only thing that i conclude is that it slows down encoding quite a bit.
    what are your experiences?

    cheers

    dennis.

did you mean full quality in first pass ?

if you read carefully the writing below the menu you can see that it clearly said that full quality won't increase the video quality. :p

    hi
yes i know what it says but there are still differents off opinion. My question was manly for people who have used it.some people claim that it can improve quality a bit.

i'm just trying to get the maximum out of the codec.

    You know.

i don't see any improvement. well it may not be visible.
but i know people may use it if the 2nd pass is undersize, they'll take the full quality pass.

its just like encodes in Q2

so no need for it, at least in my opinion
