    Hello,

This is my first post as I am new at this. I just got a laptop with a dvd burner and am backing up some of my movies. I used DVD decryptor to rip Hitch and then used DVD shrink to compress and re-author the DVD. I deleted several files like the copywrite, promo trailers and some extras that I wasn't interested in. I then burned the DVD with DVD decrypter. The DVD works on my computer but not in my home DVD player. I tried the backup in another home DVD player and it worked. However, there was no menu and the dvd started up and went right into the movie. No opening credits or anything. The second DVD I burned was small enough to do on DVD decrypter and It plays in my home DVD player with menus and all. It seems like my problem is with DVD shrink/re-author. I did go through each file on the preview screen to see what I wanted to keep when backing up Hitch. I dragged the files I wanted over to the left side. Can anyone tell me how to use the re-author tool in DVD shrink to get a functional DVD. I just want to remove some of the useless stuff...copywrite and promo trailers while preserving the menu and the whole movie. Thanks.

BTW - This site is awesome. Its been a real help.
