Has anybody else experienced the issue of the fuse going in their box, if so where did they obtain a new fuse?

Never heard of it , have you got a clone or genuine ?
Clone has 18x7 vents on top and genuine has 25x7 vents

Count the vents on top , if it has no power at all going to the SV it more than likely a clone and has the wrong firmwa*e version installed

We did install a version 4 (starview_h20070607_400e) (bin) to a number of boxes, this box was different so I am assuming it must be a clone, how do I remove the software on it or should I just put the old software on it, if possible, don't know if that will work without the fuse working, my father said there was power in the machine though

If its a clone you will need the 2.57_fixed b!n file , it can be found in the bottom of my post , if the SV still has power with LED lights on the front the you will have to install the 2.57_fixed ASAp or it will die completely

The version 4 you installed is for genuines only,

Well, if you're in Ireland, send a PM to fergusrb. He'll sort it out for you at a reasonable price. If you're in the UK, you'll have to do a search through your search engine of choice.
