I hadn't backed-up any cds in a while and when I did my programs all updated: Realplayer, WMP, sonic stage, and jet audio(when one would malfunction I moved on until they all crapped out). Several problems have occured since: 1. The cd is blank after program has "completed the burn" 2. Cd is burnt but skips throughout 3. Program can not complete burn 4. Program encounters an error and must close 5. Program crashes in finalization 6. Realplayer inpaticular crashes, causes drwatson post mortem to crash and then me to restart the computer. 7. I have made almost 50 coasters out of sony cd-r media, previously having never made cd coasters I've been trying to take care of this problem myself over the last week. I've reinstalled, updated, and searched through the fixes offered through the programs respective forums to no avial. I'm so fustrated and frazzeled over this any help would be greatly appreciated. Side note: In one support forum it suggest going to the task manager and clearing out processes but no details were provided. I didn't touch the processes, I'm afraid; I want to fix my problem and not create another. I am willing to try this method if someone will hold my hand along the way.
