Hi everyone, Long time reader here at AD, and finally found a reason to post with a question. I have a new Epson Stylus Photo R800 printer that I am using to print CD insert artwork and CD face artwork. I am a pro with Photoshop and have designed my CD artwork there. No real problems with the Jewel case inserts except some slight color issues I'm working on. BUT When i am printing the CD using Epson Print CD I am getting pixilated (fuzzy) artwork results. I am using a 300dpi image that has text and it's looking slightly fuzzy, which I can not understand. I test printed using some of the crappy Epson stock artwork and that seems to be fine. What I did was to save one of the Epson stock images and I used that as the base for my CD face template. The image is 300dpi to begin with. I laid out my text and artwork the way I wanted it on the CD face, used Epson Print CD to place the artwork on my disc and printed it. The colors are spot on, but this fuzziness issue is killing me as that's usually a sign on to low a resolution being used, which this certainly isn't. Any ideas on how to get this right? It just looks very unprofessional when it is pixilated like it is. Thanks so much!
I should also mention that the media I am using is Disc Makers Ultra Hydroshield CD-R. They are for use with the R800 as I checked before I bought them. Thanks!
