FW update for Liteon 5005

    I'm attempting to update the firmware at the moment, but "file" keeps appearing in recorder window when I try to load disk. Have I missed something?

    Try going to my site and reading the firmware update instructions. It is mainly for the ILO but can be applied to the LiteOn recorders. It may help you try some things to get it to upgrade.

    Thanks. I switched power off and it uploaded ok. Still wont read anything other than cd's though :-(
