FX 57 or X2 4800?

    I need a new cpu.
    Gaming in the next year will take advantage of dual core or not?

    Best for gaming, FX 57 or X2 4800?

    Hmmm. If it were me i would want the X2 4800+, but if you just want it for games then the FX57 because games at the moment dont support dual cpu so you wont see a differance between the FX57 and X2...
    But when games are released with dual cpu support then the X2 will be better....

    Go for the X2!! : )

    Also consider I will be upgrading from an Athlon 64 3800 & that I will be upgrading the cpu again this time next year.
