Hello, I have somewhat of an unsual problem. I purchased the PNY G-Force FX 5500 AGP 8X graphics card a few days ago...everything works like a charm on my computer monitor, but the problem is when I switch to my TV on TV out mode. I noticed that part of the desktop gets cut, and when I try playing video files, part of the video gets cut. I've tried everything possible such as updating my NVIDIA drivers, changing the resoluton, repositioning the desktop through the TV out option, but the video still gets cut regardless of what the resolution is. I was wondering what the problem might be...My previous video card had no problems when I switched to my TV, and I never had to make any sort of adjustments. Thanks in advance.

pretty easy problem to fix if im right...

right click the desktop and go to properties.

click on the settings tab and go to advanced.

click on the tab called Geforce FX 5500 (it will say something like that it will be the only tab that looks like it does anyway)

now down the left hand side of the geforce window there is a menu, go to display properties (should be 1st in the list).

there should be a picture of a monitor next to a tv.

right click the tv and go to device settings or tv settings.

this should bring up a window with a picture of a tv on. in the picture of the tv there are plus and minus buttons. mess about with those buttons till the output looks ok on your tv and thats it.

let me know how you get on

Thanks for the help...unfortunately, all that does is make the desktop smaller. However, the video still overscans whenever I go into full screen mode...nothing changes. How weird. =/
