game backup problems

    ok, i've got a softmodded xbox with xboxhdm and ndure and a 40gig hdd, but i just bought and formatted a 500gig hdd for it, and i went to make xisos of all the games from the old hdd and burn them to play on my new one, but it keeps saying tray empty, and my originals are all scratched from my little brother. any help?

    Are you by any chance using 16x dvd-r's? (just a guess.. neither of my xbox drives even see 16x disks)

    Why are you bothering to burn anyway? Just ftp the game folders back onto the new HDD.

    i used 8X dvd + and - and neither want to work, even burning at 1X.
