Hello I'm looking for a little help as i'm having problems at a particular section of FEAR 2. Not sure if this forum is the correct place to post for game help so wondered if anyone could recommend any decent sites to help me on my way. Many Thanks louis
Yeah thanks for that mate, had a look through and no mention of the part i'm stuck at. The section i am having trouble with is the part immediately after the cut scene when you enter the small circular glass chamber and everything explodes. I've looked around and there are two dark corridors which seem to be exits but if you walk into either of these dark corridors you die, no reason not shot or anything, it's towards the end of Mission 2 (awakening). After you fall out of the chamber, you should head back the way you came. Several enemies show up almost immediately. The door by the elevators that was locked before is now open.
After i fall out of the chamber i seem to be on the wrong side of the glass, i can see the soldiers trying to shoot me but they can't because the glass stops them. If i run around either corridor to get to the soldiers, both exit corridors are completely black even with the torch lit, If i attempt to go down either corridors i seem to fall or something? Weird..Don't know what's going to be honest, frustrating though cos i was just getting in to it! lol Cheers again
yea i had no probs, it explodes, you turn around and see like 3 soldiers shoot them, and go through the door they came out of, kill about 5 more soldiers then just backtrack.
maaan.....looks like i've somehow managed to fall through the wrong side of the glass chamber..what the funk? This is the first game i've played in years and i'm "virtually stuck" within the game, how lame is that, even the soldiers are looking at me through the glass wondering what the hell i'm doing, i'm taking this AI to a whole new level. Don't think i can replay the last level either as i believe the game saves overwrite each other?, looks like i'm destined to be the freak behind the glass forever!.....Great :-(
did some searching for you louis. its a know glitch, that alot of people are pissed off about. Found out from the main menu; you can actually restart a particular level. Yeah that's it mate, with not playing any console games for so many years i thought it was something i'd done wrong...lol I'm gonna try again from the same level but if it happens again i'll give it up as a bad job, thanks for looking into it for us and the links
any of you guys have know of a place to download a good guide for this game? did a quick google search and the only one i can find is the IGN on, and i dont feel like paying for it, free is so much better. thanks

yea, thats what im after, but im trying to find one i can download for free, because if i try to download the IGN one it wants to you to become a paying member.
